From the Ohio UFO Notebook, Summer 1997

In 1997 MORA received sketchy reports from the Eaton, Ohio area of a loud and
slow flying vehicle in the eastern landing paths of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

The reports are of sightings which occur after dark, usually in the late night/early morning time frame. It "sounds like thunder that never reaches the ground," as loud as a nearby freight train. The sound rattles the windows of homes under the vehicle's flight path. Interestingly, the sound is reported as having "no Doppler effect."

One person who has experienced multiple sightings of this vehicle noted seeming correlation with her children's nose bleeds. She reports that her head hurts and she experiences "a spike on the left side of my head, in my right sinus across the top of my head" when the vehicle pass over her location. This witness also reports a problem with magnetic fields and with computer and printing equipment, including the erasure of and the printing out of unusual files.

The vehicle is described as large, dark colored, and crescent shaped. As it goes away, its back end appears square. The center of this square has a red light and the four points of the compass of the square hold large white lights.
